Answers:

1. What is the Child in the City Seminar

This international event is a project of the Child in the City Foundation. This edition will be held 3 & 4 December in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

2. Why should I participate?

By attending you will be part of an international gathering for research and good practice in creating child-friendly cities. During the event major practitioners, local politicians and academics will come together to discuss the rights and well-being of children throughout Europe and beyond.

Furthermore, the Child in the City Seminar is one of the leading events on the latest child-friendly policies and research studies. There will also be a networking exhibition room available where top researchers and scientists will display their projects on a poster presentation.

Attend sessions from expert speakers from all over the world.

3. Who organises the Child in the City Seminar?

Child in the City Seminar is owned and organised by the Child in the City Foundation with the support of the Conference Agency ProMedia Events & Conferences.

7. What is the date of the seminar?

The seminar is being held 3 & 4 December 2024.

8. How long is the seminar?

It is a 2-day event.

9. Can I register for only one day?

No, this event is a 2-day event registration only.

10. How many speakers will there be?

Our speakers include children’s professionals, university lecturers, researchers and city planners from all over the world will share their knowledge and research on child-friendly cities. We are now working on the programme and will update the site.

13. How do I get to the seminar from the airport?

The Event is held in Lantarenvenster, Rotterdam. Please visit the website of Lantarenvenster to plan your visit. Rotterdam is well connected with the international train system.

14. Are hotels included in the registration fee?

No, hotels are not included in the registration fee.

15. Will there be food included during the seminar?

Yes, for the people who will attend live we will provide lunches, small bites & coffee breaks throughout the seminar days.

16. How much is the seminar fee for a delegate?

Physical participation
Early bird = €295,- ex VAT
Regular = €345,- ex VAT
Student = €150,- ex VAT

All prices are excluding VAT
